Minecraft: Lava + Wooden Floors = House on Fire
Although it is nice to have a lava well in your house as a garbage disposal, putting wooden blocks next to it will start your house on fire. While trying to put out said fire, you will then flood your house. After controlling both the fire and the water, you will spend several hours rebuilding your house to it’s prior state.
On a side note, that monster trap you spent three more hours...
